On Saturday we opened our doors once again to our volunteers and community to celebrate 3 years of service in our area.

We had many visitors to the Hub who wished to learn how the service operated. Families attended and were given demonstrations on the use of an AED defibrillator.
Some of our service users attended to express their thanks, appreciation and support given to them and their family during their medical ordeal. It was extremely humbling to hear all these gracious comments and recollections, especially the plaudits bestowed on our Responders who volunteer their time during a medical crisis.

This Open Day event also highlighted the wonderful support from our community. Not everyone can be a Responder but so many people donated financially to the service and these funds enable us to provide an exceptional service with top of the range equipment to support NIAS during medical alerts.
We have already attended over 370 calls since we commenced this service.

Saturday was also the
launch day for our website.
We are indebted to Michael Grant and Seámus Mc Veigh for the groundwork, design and completion layout.
